Who We Are


The Head Start Birth to Five Program serves enrolled families by providing education, family services, health and nutrition services, support with special education evaluations/services, and mental health services. We have both center based and home based programs.

The Children’s Community Head Start Birth-to-Five Program is a federally funded comprehensive early childhood educational program serving income eligible families in 13 school districts in central Suffolk County, NY. The Children’s Community Head Start is a program of Community Program Centers of Long Island, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization.
